This role is responsible for the planning and implementation of corporate communications across all agencies and business divisions within the Mediabrands family at a regional EMEA level. The role is the frontline driver of both internal and external communications strategy and activation in the region, and a key contributor to delivering marketing collateral and activity that contributes to the network’s growth supports the agencies within the Mediabrands network, whilst also attracting talent as an employer of choice.

This role will report to the Head of Communications, EMEA, and involves close working relationships with global, regional and market leads to ensure consistency of comms across all of our EMEA markets.

The role will oversee the design and implementation of our regional internal and external corporate communications, including PR, social media, creative and content development, and events.

Reporting to the Head of Communications, EMEA, the Senior Manager’s responsibilities include the following:
  • Roll out Mediabrands’ global communications strategy across EMEA, whilst also supporting the network’s brands across all markets.
  • Work with EMEA Head of Communications to help develop communications strategies to showcase business, talent and DEI activity.
  • Alongside the Head of Communications, act as a central contact for all IPG Mediabrands’ communications throughout EMEA and as an extension of the global comms function.
  • Liaise with the new business and design teams to support all growth and new business efforts in the region.
  • Support markets with all Mediabrands social media and ensure all are kept up to date.
  • Support the comms team by compiling and updating awards spreadsheets, key contact lists and monthly press coverage reports for the region.
Partnership with Global, Agency and Local Market Comms Teams
  • Work to ensure adoption and drive unified brand messaging across the entire organization working with communications partners across our brands.
  • Coordinate local market comms teams for the delivery of global comms into the markets, including coordinating translations.
  • Keep the global comms team up to date with activity and developments in EMEA
  • Build strong relationships with local market comms teams and create a comms community within which to share great work and leverage best practice
Marketing Communications – PR, branding, profiling and events
  • Provide support for internal and external awards entries and judging, providing editorial support to markets where necessary.
  • Develop and oversee external facing assets including press releases, talking points, scripts, presentations, Q&As, briefing documents and fact sheets that create awareness and establish our position. Be the go-to for the business for copywriting and editing documents when needed.
  • Oversee content and execution of internal and external events aligned with our DEI and culture initiatives across the region, EMEA conferences and events and agency meetings.

Gewenste vaardigheden & ervaring

Your Experience:
  • Proven Marcomms professional with excellent communications skills.
  • Demonstrable skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities.
  • Must have a strong copywriting background and expert experience with the development of press releases, marketing collateral, and white papers.
  • Proven events management skills and experience.
  • Excellence in marketing tools such as PowerPoint and social media.
  • Experience with working with senior managers, departmental heads and C-suite level.
