Position Summary

We are looking for you - dynamic, best-in-class talent - to join the Initiative team as an Associate Director, Business Intelligence & Accountability. The Associate Director will guide Sr. Analysts, collaborate with Partnerships (media buying teams) and Comms Design (Planning) to identify and present performance, optimization opportunities and recommendations. This is a great opportunity to work closely with key team stakeholders in communicating complex data insights that will influence overall advertising strategies for the client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, guide and mentor senior analysts
  • Development of client-specific measurement plans
  • Manage the outputs of day-to-day requirements and workflow of the client as it relates to analytics
  • Lead the design of measurement plans and Test & Learn agendas
  • Manage development of analytics output including monthly media performance reporting
  • Develop media performance dashboards with filtering capabilities to enable internal teams to uncover performance insights
  • Responsible for presentation of research and analytics to client, with support from your team, with focus on recommendations and actionable insights
  • Keep client apprised of project status, roadblocks and resolutions
  • Apply independent critical thinking to solve challenges
  • Responsible for the best practice application of analytics approach 
  • Help guide junior members on story-board/ narrative to provide rich insights 
  • Proactively collaborate internally across Initiative crafts to ensure a data driven approach to Strategy, Communications Design and Partnerships. 

Desired Skills & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience 
    • 7+ years of analytics experience, preferably within a media agency
    • Experience with and strong understanding of digital media performance in channels such as direct display, programmatic, paid search, paid social
    • Strong knowledge of digital marketing technologies, including DCM, Sizmek, IAS, etc. 
    • Experience with web analytics tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics is a plus
    • Data visualization skills using Tableau is strongly preferred
    • An understanding of relational databases and experience with SQL and Python is a plus
    • Ability to communicate complex concepts at varying levels (from superficial to detailed) to suit the audience 
    • Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

We also offer a competitive Total Compensation package, including a competitive salary and eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award or a relevant incentive award.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000.  Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
