Position Summary

The Director of Operations, Partnerships is a role that will focus on excellence in media execution mainly in Digital media including Video, Display, Programmatic.  The role is designed to ensure the various teams across Initiative are employing best in class processes, tools and rigor for executional excellence.  This role will also play a role in crafting new tools and ways of working for future success.  

Key Responsibilities

Client  

  • - Partner with Investment teams to ensure client facing materials are being executed in the most efficient and effective manner 

  • - Design, develop and review operational process with clients (i.e., creative rotation docs)

Internal   
  • - Establish an environment of collaboration and teamwork among disparate groups and client teams  

  • - Ensure every specialist Investment team is regularly applying best in class tools and processes to deliver on consistent execution.

  • -Lead work streams related to operation process

  • - Act as a catalyst for innovation & experimentation that drives operational improvement and efficiency 

  • - Participate in internal steering committees and meetings with key partners (MediaOcean, Hudson) to review updates on buying tools 

  • - Participate in internal workstreams that will improve efficiency and drive automation 

  • - Lead trainings on new processes and tools 

  • - Facilitate self-education through ongoing learning, trainings, industry events. 

  • -Cross-train new joiners and video investment teams in digital operations process, to develop skill sets and lead trainings on new processes and tools

  • -Facilitate self-education through ongoing learning, trainings, industry events.

  • -Partner with Matterkind and Reprise to ensure consistent process & taxonomies are used across the board. 

  • -Own Partnership team communication with DV, IAS, and Moat, regularly informing teams of updates, changes, or important glitches.

  • -Refine and roll-out a unified process for billing against viewability and ad fraud within plans

  • -Educate internal teams on major ad tech updates (relative to campaign execution)

  • -Represent Partnerships with the Media Ops/Ad Ops teams, to ensure Partnerships needs in media ops process conversations (ie holiday trafficking timelines)

  • -Provide bi-annual ad tech landscape overviews to Partnerships craft.

  • -Ensure relevant front-end executional elements result in clean & efficient reporting outputs

Commercial 

  • - Support and facilitate all Initiative and IPG MB new business, revenue and industry initiatives 

  • - Provide Partnerships support for various New Business pitches, from crafting RFP responses, to create onboarding plan of action and outlining processes.

  • - Support and collaborate with all MB SBU’s for maximum effectiveness and seamless integration onto client business.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s):

- Creates consistent processes across teams that drive efficiencies

-Delivers 1-2 new tools or processes to deliver efficiency

-Ensures greater consistency across the investment team

-Drives 70% adoption across teams and foster regular use of streamlined processes (i.e, updates templates, taxonomies, bulk uploads)


Desired Skills & Experience

  • -Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent work experience 

  • - 7-10 years experience in Digital media Partnerships roles or Operational roles 

  • - Experience with Prisma or similar media buying tools 

  • - Passion for and experience with operations 

  • - Ability to build strong, trust-based relationships with teams and foster strong collaboration 

  • - Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

We also offer a competitive Total Compensation package, including a competitive salary and eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award or a relevant incentive award.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $160,000.  Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
